VISA Opt-In Over the Limit

An option on our TLC Community Credit Union VISA Credit Card has changes! Due to new Government regulation, we can not allow you to go over the limit on your VISA credit card (even temporarily) UNLESS you sign and return the Visa Opt-In Over the Limit Form.

In February, 2010, any attempted VISA charge over the amount of your available credit limit will be denied unless you have a signed agreement on file and have approved small amounts over what was available on your VISA credit card. As an example, if you have $49.99 available on your credit limit, and you try to charge $50.00, starting February, 2010, we (by law) will have to deny your charge. We have always allowed this practice for instances where payments were in the mail or for emergency situations.

To continue to allow us to provide this option, please fill out the Visa Opt-In Over the Limit Form  and return to TLC at your earliest convenience. (Remember….this was turned off automatically in February, 2010!)
