- A text message with an 8 digit activation code will be sent to your phone
- Type the activation code into the Activation Code field and click the Activate button
- Click the Continue button
- Some Welcome text messages will be sent to your phone
Using text banking:
To use Text Banking, you will send text messages to 90703. Each command that you send must be preceded by tlc
For example, to check the balance on your checking account, you would send: tlc bal s15
If you just type tlc bal, a text message listing your savings will be sent back to you. You will then need to send a text message picking the savings from the list (ie. tlc 1 for the first savings on the list)
Text Banking uses several commands that are executed from a registered mobile device. The following listing summarizes the functionality of these commands:
HELP – Returns a listing of available Text Banking commands
BAL – Returns the balance for a specified savings or loan account
HIST – Returns a transaction history (the last five transactions) for a specified savings or loan account
NEXT - Returns the next five transactions from history (after an initial HIST command request)
TRAN – Transfers funds between a members sub-accounts. Note: a shortcut transfer would look like this: tlc s00 s15 100 which would transfer $100 from savings to checking. Amounts must be entered in whole dollars only ($100 not 100.00 or 100.50)
LOCK – Locks access to Online Banking, preventing online login access. This command works in tandem with the UNLOCK command.
UNLOCK – Unlocks access to Online Banking, allowing online login access. This command works in tandem with the LOCK command.
STOP – Disables Text Banking SMS message delivery to the mobile device (the device will remain “registered” within Text Banking). This command works in tandem with the START command.
START - Enables Text Banking SMS message delivery to the mobile device. This command works in tandem with the STOP command.
If you have the same phone registered for multiple accounts, each time you send a command, a text message will be sent back to you asking you to pick which account off a list of accounts.
If you do not specify a savings when requesting a BAL etc., a text message will be sent to you asking you to pick the savings from a list of savings.
