President's Message

Dear TLC Members,

After a safe and successful period of offering appointments through several offices, all of our offices are offering member service appointments.  We invite you to make an appointment to open accounts, close loans, access your safe deposit box and any other items that require you to meet with a Member Service professional.  We hope to open the teller departments as soon as the Governor and Lenawee County state that it is safe for us to do so.

My staff and I truly thank you for your patience, your understanding and your flexibility as we work through overloaded internet lines creating issues with online services, longer than usual waits at the drive up due to more members using it along with increased wait times while on hold due to an increase in call volume. Our staff is doing extraordinary work in managing the crisis and finding inventive ways to serve you during this difficult time of social distancing.

In addition to the work our operations teams are doing, our administrative teams are working on ways to keep you safe when we finally open our doors again.  We are tracking what safeguards our State and Federal leaders are putting in place as well as developing some new conveniences we hope you use and enjoy.

As with any unusual situation, unintended consequences come out of it and I know that will be true for TLCCU as well – improving how we provide access to financial services for you and your families.

Again, thank you for your membership, your business and the trust you place in us. I encourage you to periodically visit the COVID-19 Update page for information on how we are going to ramp up the opening of our offices when government allows, different assistance programs we are offering along with suggestions on how to get your needs met and for updates on the stimulus checks.

Sincerely,

Randy Smith
President & Chief Executive Officer
