TLC marks Groundbreaking of NEW Dundee Office
TLC Community Credit Union celebrated the official groundbreaking of its new Dundee Office location on September 18, 2023. The new office will be located at 16486 Tecumseh Street, and is scheduled to open in early summer of 2024.
During the groundbreaking ceremony TLC Community Credit Union’s CEO Jeff Brehmer spoke of the importance of a community that supports one another and recognized the contributions of those in attendance.
Brehmer thanked several key community individuals who made the new location possible, including representatives from the Village of Dundee, Jason Hess, and his team from Krieghoff – Lenawee Company who will serve as general contractor, and Ray Micham and his team from The Collaborative architectural designers.
"We are thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of our new TLC Community Credit Union branch in Dundee, Michigan. This expansion represents TLC’s commitment to serving the community and meeting the financial needs of our members. We look forward to providing exceptional service and convenient banking solutions to the residents of Dundee and surrounding areas. This new branch will enhance our ability to support local businesses, promote financial literacy, and contribute to the economic growth of the region. We are excited for this new chapter and grateful for the continued trust and support of our valued members" Brehmer said.
The new state-of-the-art office will feature the latest innovative banking technology and offer members more choices and convenience. While continuing to provide the personalized service seen at traditional credit unions, the new branch affords a modern and exciting service experience.
The 3,900-square-foot facility will be a full-service financial institution. The lobby will have an open, welcoming environment featuring two walk-up teller pods for personalized service. The new office will offer two drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, and a night depository box. The branch will also have a lounge area and technology suite.
“We are excited to move from our current, relatively small, leased space to a new, larger office that will allow our team to personally assist members with all of their banking needs” said Jessica Mack, Assistant Vice President - Dundee Branch Manager. “Our member service representatives are trained to craft solutions to fit individual needs and provide competitive savings and lending options.”
Jessica shared a website where regular updates will be posted: www.tlccu.org/new-dundee-office. “We want people to join us on this journey,” she said. “They’ll be able to watch as the building goes up and get to know us better in the process.”
