1. Open Your Account
Select the Savings or Checking account(s) that are right for you and visit one of our Branch Locations. Be sure to bring:
- Valid ID
- Proof of residency if your ID has an old address
- Email Address
- Social Security number or ITIN
- Opening deposit
2. Switch Your Direct Deposit(s)
Download the form or simply contact your employer or the business/organization initiating the deposit. Provide them your new account number and TLC’s routing number (#272485291)
3. Switch Your Automatic Payment(s)
Transfer any automatic payments from your old account by providing the appropriate businesses with your new checking and routing number. Use this checklist to help ensure you haven’t missed one.
4. Close Your Old Account
Use this closing form to let your old financial institution know you’re closing your account. But only do so after all transactions have cleared your old account. Use the balancing form to see if you have any transactions still outstanding.
